Terms & Conditions

This document sets out the Terms & Conditions under which MONNUI S.R.L. offers its products and services via the website www.monnui.com. By browsing, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Seller: MONNUI S.R.L.
  • Buyer / Customer: any individual or legal entity placing an Order.
  • User: anyone accessing the website.
  • Account: section of the website consisting of email, password, and personal details that allows order management.
  • Order: an electronic request placed by the Buyer for products offered on the website.
  • Contract: the legally binding agreement concluded once the Seller confirms the Order by email.
  • Products / Goods: jewellery and glass objects available for purchase through the site.

3. Products

  • All products are handcrafted. Slight variations in color, texture, or form may occur and are not considered defects.
  • We strive for accurate descriptions and photos, but we cannot guarantee identical appearance due to display settings or natural material variation.

4. Ordering & Contract Formation

  • Orders can be placed via the website, following the steps indicated.
  • By submitting an Order, the Buyer declares that all information provided is correct.
  • The Contract is considered concluded once the Seller confirms the Order by email.
  • The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an Order in case of system errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.

5. Prices, Payments & Promotions

  • Prices are expressed in the currency shown on the website, unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment is accepted through secure electronic methods made available at checkout.
  • MONNUI S.R.L. does not store payment details.
  • In case of pricing errors, we reserve the right to correct them; Buyers will be informed before the Order is confirmed.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship nationally and internationally, to the destinations shown at checkout.
  • Glass objects and glass jewellery presented on the website are always in stock and will be shipped within 1–2 working days after order confirmation.

Silver jewellery:

  • If the piece is in stock, it will be shipped within 1–2 working days.
  • If the piece is not in stock, it will be handcrafted specially for you, and production may take 15–20 working days before shipping.
  • Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on courier, customs procedures, or circumstances beyond our control. The Buyer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by their country.
  • The risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer once the package is delivered by the courier.

7. Return Policy

  • The Buyer has the right to return a product or withdraw from a service within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason and without incurring any costs other than return delivery costs.
  • Withdrawal must be announced in advance by email to info@monnui.com. The Seller reserves the right not to accept return packages without prior written notification.

Exceptions

  • Goods made to the Buyer’s specifications, clearly personalized products, and earrings (for hygiene reasons) are not eligible for return.

Refunds

  • The Seller will refund the amount paid within 14 days from the date of notification of withdrawal.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method (e.g., bank card refund to the same account).
  • The Seller may delay the refund until the goods are received or until proof of shipment is provided.

Decrease in Value

  • The Buyer may inspect goods as in a physical store (e.g., try on once). Wearing them repeatedly or causing damage will reduce their value.
  • Goods returned with diminished value (scratches, stains, cracks, missing parts, etc.) will be refunded only after deduction of repair or reconditioning costs.
  • Accessories included in the shipment (jewelry box, certificate, gift bag, etc.) must also be returned.

8. Warranties

  • All MONNUI jewellery is sold with a warranty certificate confirming compliance with applicable quality standards.
  • The warranty period for precious metal jewellery is 1 year, covering any lack of conformity existing at the time of sale.

Buyer’s Rights During Warranty

  • The right to request repair of the product as a first option, or its replacement, free of charge, unless such remedy is impossible or disproportionate.
  • If neither repair nor replacement is possible, the Buyer may request a proportional price reduction or contract termination with a full refund.
  • Warranty claims do not cover damages caused by accidents, misuse, improper storage, or normal wear.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content (text, images, logos, product designs) on www.monnui.com is the property of MONNUI S.R.L.
  • Copying, distribution, or use without written permission is prohibited.

10. User Accounts & Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details.
  • MONNUI S.R.L. is not liable for damages caused by unauthorized account access.

11. Liability & Force Majeure

  • MONNUI S.R.L. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from product use or site access.
  • We are not liable for non-performance or delays caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.).

12. Changes to Terms

  • MONNUI S.R.L. reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
  • The version applicable to an Order is the one available at the time the Contract was concluded.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by Romanian law.
  • Any disputes shall be settled amicably; if not possible, they fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Romanian courts.
